Obituary of Patricia Beaver

Patricia Beaver, 72, passed away peaceful in her beloved home. Pat was born in Bayonne, NJ and raised in Kingston, NY. The oldest of seven children, Pat was a graduate of Kingston High School. Pat married Joseph Beaver in 1962 at St. Peter’s Church in Kingston. In 1966 the couple and two sons moved to Alplaus, NY where they welcomed a daughter and another son. Pat quickly became an integral part of the Alplaus community and was known as one of the best friends the village ever had. Pat was a proud homemaker and mother to not only her children, but to all the countless children who entered her home, in later years she was fondly referred to as Grandma Cookie. Pat was a steadfast member of the Alplaus Fire Dept Ladies Auxiliary where she was treasurer. Pat could be found at all events that supported her beloved Alplaus community, she was a true representative of the spirit of Alplaus. Pat was predeceased by her father and mother James and Elizabeth Becker, her sisters Jill and Kathy Becker, and her brother James Becker. Pat is survived by her loving husband Joseph, her children; Michael(Kristen) Beaver of Delanson, Steven (Cynthia) Beaver of Scotia, Michelle Marsh of Mechanicville, and Joseph Beaver of Alplaus, her grandchildren; Alexander, Michael, Jillian, Carlyn, Samuel, and Jared, brother Jack (Brenda)Becker, sister Sandra Becker, and brother Robert (Kathy) Becker all of Kingston. Services will be held at Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd, Glenville NY. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 12pm to 2pm followed by a service at 2pm. A private interment burial will be held at Saratoga National Cemetery at a future date. Donations may be made to the Alplaus Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
