Obituary of William L. O'Connor

William L. O'Connor Jr., 70, passed away peacefully December 9, 2016 at Care One of Lowell, MA. Born in Kingston, NY on June 3, 1946, he was the son of the late William Sr. and Margaret Tansey O'Connor. Raised in Schenectady, he was a graduate of Linton High School's class of 1966. Bill was employed as a machinist for various companies including Glenville Gauge in Scotia. Bill was a longtime devoted fan of the Yankees. He was predeceased by his sister, Roberta McGrath and her husband, John. Survivors include his brother, Kevin (Valerie) O'Connor of Charlton and sisters, Beth (William) King of Glenville, Margaret O'Connor of Schenectady and Karen (Michael) McCarthy of W. Dennis, MA. Several nieces and nephews also survive him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday (December 15) 10 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Glenville.
