Obituary of Kenneth E. Millington

Kenneth E. Millington, 71, died peacefully December 23, 2016 at Glendale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with his family at his side. Ken was the son of the late Edward and Mary Roemish Millington. Born in Woodside, Queens, NYC he attended Bishop Loughlin H.S. Following graduation, he attended Bernard Baruch College. Ken received his Master's Degree from Long Island University. He was united in marriage to the former Mary Ann Raber on April 12, 1969 at Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Roman Catholic Church in Queens. The Millingtons moved to Glenville in 1981. Ken worked over thirty-five years for the State of New York's State Insurance Fund as a Hearing Representative. He retired in 2007.He was a San Francisco Giants Fan, and enjoyed listening to and collecting music. The family thanks the nurses, aides and staff at Erie Crossing for the excellent care provided to Ken. Survived by his wife Mary Ann Millington, his daughter Lisa Corbett and her husband Trevor and their children Evan and Noelle Corbett; his son, Eric J. Millington and his wife Samantha and their children Lily and Jack Millington. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
