Obituary of Ginelle Doré Toussaint

Ginelle Doré Toussaint of Burnt Hills died too soon at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn on December 27, 2016 while surrounded by her loving family. Ginelle was born in Saratoga Springs, NY, on October 19, 1974 and was the daughter of Stephen R. Toussaint and the late Suzanne Bolster Toussaint. Ginelle attended Saratoga Springs Schools and graduated from Saratoga High School as a member of the Class of 1992. While there she enjoyed her studies and made many wonderful, lifelong friends. She attended the State University at Cobleskill and majored in Early Childhood Education. She was employed at the Saratoga Shoe Depot until their closing. In 1999, she met her lifelong partner, Jason LaPietro and they were blessed with 3 wonderful children together. Her family happiness was expanded when she began providing loving care for the children of family, neighbors and friends in her home. Ginelle was at school events, concerts, parent teacher time, art displays, Mother-Daughter Nights, Field Days, and Moving Up Ceremonies to name a few. She enjoyed family vacations to Maine and loved the ocean. She went camping, on many day trips and picnic outings. Ginelle was in attendance at every athletic event possible, often while sitting in the bleachers or car supporting Morgan’s homework efforts.
