Obituary of Michael J. Tommarello

Michael J. Tommarello, 57, passed away suddenly on January 31, 2017. Born in the Bronx, he was the son of Catherine (Lesanti) and the late Pasquale T. Tommarello. Michael attended Brewster High School. He explored various entrepreneurial opportunities throughout his life and had several successful businesses including various restaurants and night clubs. Michael will fondly be remembered for his great sense of humor and for the many adventures he enjoyed. Michael married his beloved wife Gina (DiDonato) Tommarello, 26 years ago, on August 20, 1990. Michael’s greatest joy was spending time with his family, friends, and pets. In addition to his mother Catherine, and his wife Gina, he is survived by his son Nicholas Tommarello and daughters Jessica, Erica and Amanda Tommarello. He is also survived by his sister Lee-Ann Anderson (Wayne) and their children Kayla and Wayne Jr. and his sister JoAnn Toth (John) and their children Gillian, Allison and Johnny, Uncle Nicky Lesanti as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Calling hours for Michael will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2017 from 1pm-4pm, at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, Glenville. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 11:00am at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Saratoga Road, Glenville. Entombment will take place privately at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna, New York. Memorial contributions in Michael’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association P.O.
