I am so saddened by Uncle Dom's passing. I know how much he loved his family. I admired the relationships he had with his children. I never knew a man that loved his family as he did. God truly gained another angel. He is with his sisters, Joanne and Theresa (my mom), now and I'm sure those girls are glad he is. May he rest in peace.

It's hard to think of Dom not being with us, heaven just gained an angel but he left behind the best family I know. As everyone knows Dom did many wonderful things but I will remember how strong his faith was. It showed with the many things he did for Immaculate Conception Church. I will always remember the time spent at Immaculate working with Dom at the Food Pantry. Dom and Lorraine taught me many things which I carried with me to my church in NC when we relocated. I will remember the good times in that kitchen and the laughs we had. I miss the 2:00 tea time just sitting and talking about everything and anything. The Marchesiello door was always open. I hope the things I was taught will influence the people that cross my path. I will never forget Dom.

General Marchesiello was one of the most competent senior officers I have had the honor of knowing during my 38 year military career.
I once had the privilege of serving as his executive officer in the New York Air National Guard headquarters. He was a leader and mentor who taught by example. He was endowed with wisdom, humility, and a sense of humor that guided us through the most challenging days.
Thanks Dom! We were very fortunate to have you as a friend.

I am a relative of Emilee, (Grandson Joseph's wife).
This man leaves behind a good and loving family evidenced by those he influenced with love and strong values, his descendants we are honored to now call "Family").

Sorry to hear of Dom's passing but I am so pleased to know he was able to go in peace in the house he loved so much. He was a good neighbor to our family for many years and I am thrilled that the last time I saw him was a happy occasion. He was such a powerful personality I know everyone will never quite "get over" his passing. Merely get used to knowing he is gone. My love and sympathy to all of you on behalf of me and my girls.
