Dear Rita & Family,
We were saddened to hear of Ron's passing. It was always so enjoyable speaking with you both sharing stories of our lives.
Along with our sons, Aaron and Andrew we had such great experiences staying at "our" summer cottage on the Cape. The roses out front were always in bloom to welcome us.
Ron had a warm inviting personality, was generous and kind. He will be greatly missed by all.

Rita and girls, so sorry for your loss. I look fondly at the stain glass mirror and jewel box he made for me when I worked for him. First boss that ever gave/made me a gift. My brother in law, Ron, was more than a brother to me.
His amazing ability to empathize was unequaled. His willingness to help anyone who came in contact with him was special.
He was the most devout and dedicated family man I have ever known.

Ron and I served together as Air Force officers assigned to the 862nd Combat Security Police Squadron, Minot AFB, North Dakota. We both arrived in 1966 as newly commissioned Second Lieutenants from AFROTC programs. He out of the University of Massachusetts and I out of the University of Wisconsin. We used to joke that the Air Force assigned us to North Dakota because we were "acclimated" to cold weather. Of course neither of us was used to the kind of negative wind chills that North Dakota would send our way during the winters at Minot. Ron was the base police commander, responsible for the law enforcement activities on the base while I worked with the aircraft and missile security units. We developed the kind of bond that is somewhat unique to those who serve in the military. I separated from the service in 1970 so were together for four years at Minot. I look back fondly at that time because I was fortunate to work with outstanding men like Ron. We have kept in touch via Christmas cards through the years. When my wife died in August of 2016 Ron took it upon himself to frequently write or text or call to make sure I was doing OK. I miss that contact. I know he is missed by many people. Special people are always missed by the survivors. I extend my condolences to Rita, Renee, Denise, the grandchildren and all of his relatives who are dealing with the terrible grief that accompanies the loss of such a fine individual. In my mind he was a model for others who want to be of service to others, live a life that reflects Christian principles, and continually show love of one's life partner and family.

Dear Rita and Family;
I was saddened to hear of Ron's passing. Though he and I were only in close association for the years he was at FMCC BOCES, I enjoyed every conversation and interaction I had with him, as well as the couple breakfasts my wife and I shared with the two of you.
I have to agree with the comment about his being a walking encyclopedia as there were few, if any, topics he didn't have at least some knowledge of. Part of the endearing quality he had.
It was truly my pleasure to have been his friend.

Rita and family, we were so sad to read of Ron's passing. Don always looked forward to his chats with Ron whenever they ran into each other subbing or at SASS functions.
His full obituary shows what an extremely well-rounded and knowledgeable man he was! We will certainly miss him. We are prevented from attending the calling hours because of major surgery and physical therapy.

Ron was one of the kindest people I ever met. He was warm and funny and his greatest pleasure was giving to others.
Although I'd only met Ron And Rita 4 years ago , I felt like they were family. I ll always remember how in sync they were. He seemed to thrive on making Rita happy and visa versa. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved nothing more than a good political debate. And Ron was progressive in his thinking.
He was protective of my feelings and genuinely concerned about me when I was in difficult situations. He felt fatherly to me and I will never forget his genuine smile and cocern for my well being. Thank you Ron for caring
Ron was devout and one of the few people who lived his live with clarity and kindness .. He was there for you always
That's the best kind of religion to me
He was happiest being with his wife. They were like one. His eyes sparkled when he looked at her. They got that way

Rita & Family -
Again we share how saddened we are for you all at this time of deep mourning for Ron's passing. I feel like I just got to know Ron through some of our work together for our community home owner's association. His contribution was very valuable and was truly helpful.
We are traveling and although now headed home, we will not have returned in time for Ron's services. Were we able, we most certainly would attend. But, Ron and you all will be in our thoughts and prayers.
