Obituary of Donald G. Childs

Don Childs, a resident of Burnt Hills, NY passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the age of 48. Don is survived by his wife of twenty years, Heidi; his four children, Kayla, Lexie, Brielle and Donovan; his grandmother, Barbara; his parents Donald and Nancy Childs; his sister, Lisa Malthouse (Sean); sister and brother-in-laws, as well as several nieces and nephews. Don was born in Niskayuna, NY on April 27, 1968. He was the Director of Software Development for Purshe Kaplan Sterling Investments. Don was a loving, devoted father and an amazing husband who loved his family more than anything. The family will be holding a non-traditional memorial service for the children to be surrounded by love and support at the Town of Ballston Town Hall, 323 Charlton Road on Tuesday, April 11, 1017 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Families are encouraged and children are welcome to help Don’s children cope with their loss.
