Obituary of Diane Marie Kelly

Diane Marie Kelly (nee Maguire), 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by Family and friends on Monday, April 17 after a brief battle with Brain Cancer. Deena was born August 16, 1946, raised, educated and married in the Bronx, New York. She Loved the Bronx and she loved her Mets! She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and wife and will be missed terribly. She was also a Loving friend and helper to many people, all of whom were Praying for her health and comfort in these last few days of life. Deena knew and loved her Savior, Jesus Christ, and recently celebrated Holy Communion with her Pastor, family, and friends, while at home in hospice care. In all things, GOD is good! Diane and Robert Kelly were married in the Bronx in 1967. They have a wonderful daughter, Marlene, who during this and previous illnesses gave loving, tender care to her Mother. Deena was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Augusta Maguire; her sister Marlene; her brother Thomas Guy. Deena leaves behind her Loving Husband, her soul mate of 49 years, Robert “Bobby” Kelly of Glenville, New York; her daughter Marlene Kelly of Glenville, New York; Brother Robert (Bob) Peter Daniel Maguire of Princeton, New Jersey; A niece Christine Dorsett (Tom) of Pennington, New Jersey; a nephew, Robert Maguire (Julie) of South Hampton, New Jersey; a nephew John Maguire of Princeton New Jersey; a nephew Tom Guy of Malta, New York; a niece Tracey Culver (Tom) of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; grandnephews Thomas and Robert Dorsett of Pennington, New Jersey; grandnieces Kiersten and Emily Maguire of South Hampton New Jersey; grandniece Angel Capasso of Chester, New York and grandniece Chrissi Culver of Grapevine, TX and several cousins and numerous family members. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and 6:00pm – 8:00 pm at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd, Glenville. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville.
