Obituary of Eleanor B. Watson (Bordeaux)

Eleanor B. Watson (Bordeaux), 94, passed away peacefully at Ellis Hospital on May 13, 2017. Born in Springfield, MA on April 10, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Mildred Bordeaux. Growing up in Springfield, she was married on January 2, 1954 to Theodore S. Watson. They started out in New Jersey and moved their family to Rexford, NY in 1961. A housewife and homemaker, Eleanor enjoyed entertaining family and friends at her home and hosted countless bridge parties. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family on vacations to Lake George, Cape Cod and Myrtle Beach. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Bordeaux; her beloved husband, Ted, passed away on April 17, 2007. Survived by include her sons, Paul A. Watson of Niskayuna and Theodore Stacey Watson Jr. of Rexford; her daughter, Nancy W. Hmelovsky (Michael) of Windsor, CT. Eleanor leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Brian, Kevin and Kathryn Hmelovsky, great granddaughter Ilana; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family, with interment at the Solomon National Veteran's Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions to Community Hospice are most appreciated.
