Obituary of Elizabeth Worden Rhenow

Elizabeth Worden Rhenow, 99 years (10 months), passed away at the Baptist Health and Rehabilitation Center on September 16, 2017.

Elizabeth was born in East Orange, NJ on November 12, 1917, the loving daughter of the late Harold Everett and Alice Smith Worden.
Her family moved to Delmar, NY, where she graduated from Bethlehem Central High School. On July 8, 1939 she married Wilbur John Rhenow.  Wilbur predeceased her on February 8, 1977.

Elizabeth is survived by her children; Barbara Gower (Leonard) of Alplaus, NY, Suzanne Kenyon (Calvin) of Stephentown, NY, James Worden Rhenow (Susan) of Northfield, MA, Diane Jones (Jimmy) of Abemarle, NC and Steven Robert Rhenow of Asheboro, NC. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Marjorie Worden (late Robert Worden) of Greensboro, NC.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her sister, Jean Allen of Crown Point, NY. Left to cherish her memory are her 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

 A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11 AM at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd. Glenville. There will be a visitation period held prior from 10-11 AM. Burial will follow immediately at West Stephentown Baptist Churches Hillside Cemetery.
