Obituary of Richard B. Peabody Jr.

Richard B. Peabody, Jr., 62, of Ballston Lake, NY passed away peacefully on October 2, 2017 at Baptist Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Schenectady, NY he was the son of the late Richard B. Peabody and Mary Lou Ryan.  Richard drove bus for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake School District for over 30 years.  He dedicated himself to the youth in the community by coaching BH-BL little league baseball, YMCA basketball and pop warner football for over 20 years.  In his free time he enjoyed golf and bowling.

Survivors include his loving sister Kellie (Kris) McLean-Harrison and Lynn (Todd) Kverek; his brothers Michael Peabody, Scott Peabody, Brian (Malissa) Peabody and Robert (Carol) McLean as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be on Friday October 6th from 6 to 8 PM at Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd. A graveside service will begin at 10 AM at St. Anthony's Cemetery on Saturday October 7.  Memorial contributions may be donated to St. Jude's Children Research Foundation, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Online condolences may be made at glenvillefuneralhome.com.
