Obituary of Patricia R. Hoeth

Patricia R. Hoeth, 86, of Scotia-Glenville passed away peacefully on October 10, 2017. Born in Quaker Street, NY, on April 22, 1931; she was the beloved daughter of the late Patsy and Matilda (DeLap) Coppolo. She graduated from DeLanson High School.

Patricia devoted her time to raising her cherished son, William. She was her son’s number one fan in anything he did; she enjoyed watching him play his many sports.

Later in life, she moved to New York City, where she worked for Con Edison as a secretary. For many years she lived in Yonkers, where she made friends for a lifetime, whom called themselves the Bunny Club, a name they had a lot of fun with!

She was an avid dancer and loved meeting new people. Her bright personality shined in conversations, especially when talking about sports! Her favorite teams to watch were the Yankees, Giants, Duke Basketball; you would even see her cheering for the golf players. She will be missed by many.

Patricia is enjoying a margarita now.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Ginger; husband William Hoeth; and her beloved grandson, Robert.

Survived by her loving son, William (Mindy) Hoeth of Fort Myers, FL; great-granddaughter, Hayley; brother, Pat (Joan) Coppolo; sister, Rosalie (Frank) Stafford; her dear friends: Marilyn, Rich, Shannon and Abby; as well as many nieces and nephews, including her dear niece Holly and her husband Steven Britton.

A funeral service will be held 7PM on Friday, October 27, at the Glenville Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7PM at Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road. Inurnment will take place at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Cemetery at 10:30 AM on October 28.
