Obituary of Rose Gold

Rose M. Gold, 78, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on October 12, 2017. 
Born on October 23, 1938 in Schenectady; she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Loretta (Sorell) Turski. She was raised in Rotterdam, where she graduated from Draper High School. 

Rose married the late Joseph C. Gold; they created many beautiful memories together before his passing in 1986. 

For over 20 years, Rose worked in the Mohonasen School District as a bus driver. She loved being surrounded by her family and friends. Her passion for cooking and baking was enjoyed by many people over the years.  

Survivors include her sons, Richard (Rachel) Gold of Scotia, Daniel (Sheri) Gold of Wevertown, NY and Joseph W. (Rose Coons) Gold of Rotterdam; grandchildren Lisa (Josh) Johnson, Brett (Kristin) Gold; brother and sister in-laws Bill and Marianne Gold of Saratoga Springs; 4 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

The family thanks Julie and staff of Baptist Health and Rehabilitation Center at N-2. Funeral was held privately at the convenience of the family.
