Obituary of Thomas H. Fake
Thomas H. Fake, 73, of Schenectady passed away peacefully on November 5, 2017 with loved ones by his side.
Born in Schenectady, NY on February 4, 1944; he was the son of the late Harold and Dorothy Fake.
After High School, Thomas enlisted in the United States Air Force; he served his country in the Vietnam War. Throughout his military career, he received honorable military decorations, including the National Defense Service Medal and Vietnam Service Medal.
In 1968, he married the late Jacqueline Sargent (passed in 1997), together they raised their two sons.
Thomas was an avid car enthusiast, he often attended car shows. For the last 8 years his loving companion, Gina Schuhl, has brought joy to his life. They traveled together, and especially enjoyed the Caribbean Island of Aruba.
He is predeceased by his wife; step-father, William Cronk and brother, Ronald Gagnon
Survivors include his beloved sons, Thomas (Janay) Fake of Cobleskill, and Timothy Fake of Albany, NY; his dear companion, Gina, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, on Thursday, November 9th from 5 to 7 PM. A prayer service will be held at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery on Friday, November 10th, at 10 AM, followed by full military honors. Friends and family are asked to meet at the funeral home for procession to the cemetery at 8:45 AM on Friday.
