To the Schwarting Family,
I am so sorry for your loss, but know with you that your dad is now at peace and reunited with your mom (my high school class mate). I hadn't been in Schenectady long when your mom saw my name in the paper and contacted me. She invited me for dinner and that's when I met your dad. I was always impressed with his sense of humor and when I wanted my kitchen done over, he was my choice of contractor. He did a beautiful job more than 40 years ago and I still enjoy it. He was also helpful when I was taking the test to become an amateur operator and my husband and I always enjoyed seeing him at SARA meetings.
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Millie Gittinger - and Clark

I will miss your voice and sense of humor that always put a smile on my face.
Thank you for always being a teacher in amateur radio. You helped many of us understand radio theory and always would build up a person up to make them a better.
Because of what you did for all of us I will always have a warm spot in my heart for you,

Dad you are my best friend and hero. I wish I was half the man you are, as I told you before I could never fill your shoes. You an Mom are the best parents and child could have. I'm at peace with your passing to heaven you belong with Mom and the Lord. Tell Mom hello from your first son. Saturday night I didn't feel good and laid on the bed at 6.50 I had chest pains and felt anxiety. I got up and unlocked the front door thinking if I called 911 they wouldn't have entry. When I laid back down the clock was at 7.15 and a couple minutes later my pains went away and I fell to sleep. Bud call me at 10 to tell me you had passed. A special friend of mine told me those pains and anxiety I felt was you passing to Heaven. I so glad You are with Mom, and you look down at us all. Love your son BILL

Schwarting Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Your father was such a special man. He was my teacher back in 1954 and 1955. I have never forgotten him and how special he was. He made Social Studies fun. When he had our children in school he was as special to them. When ever we would run into him over the years in the community, he always acknowledged us as friends. He was a great man!
