Dear Mike and the Family, I just saw Peggy' s brief obituary in the Times Union. I worked at Lisha Kill Middle School with Peggy from 1990-1999. She was an amazing, knowledgeable and compassionate teacher. Peggy was most deservedly admired and respected by parents, students and her colleagues, especially this one. Mike, as you know, I am out of town and so cannot pay my respects in person. I was a little surprised to see that Peggy passed so quickly after leaving the hospital. Please know that you and your entire family continue to be in my prayers. I can tell she was a very special person and I know you will miss her very much. Deacon Mike and family, I will miss Peggy always. She was so warm and welcoming to me when I joined the Immaculate Conception family in October 2014. I immediately felt like I'd known her for years. She was truly one of a kind. She was a strong courageous fighter in her battle with cancer. Now she is finally at peace resting with our Lord. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Kris
