Obituary of Richard L. Rhodenizer

Richard L. Rhodenizer, 80, passed away suddenly on November 18, 2017 at his home.

Richard was born on June 27, 1937 in Livermore, ME, son of the late Lauren and Lena Rhodenizer.

While working for G.E. he met Velma Johnson, who worked as a nurse at the time and later married on June 29, 1960.  Richard was an engineer for G.E. and later for Inter-Magnetics Corporation, a business that specialized in medical equipment.

Richard was a member of East Glenville Community Church, B.P.O.E. Rotterdam Lodge and enjoyed his retirement years with Velma. Richard loved animals, especially dogs.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 22, at 1 P.M. in the Glenville Funeral Home Chapel, 9 Glenridge Rd. Glenville-Scotia.  Officiating at the services will be Rev. Dr. Kenneth Heckeler. Relatives and friends are cordially invited and may call at the funeral home prior from 12 noon to 1 PM. Interment St. Anthony’s Cemetery.  Memorials may be made in Richard’s name to City Mission of Schenectady or to one’s favorite charity this Thanksgiving season.  Arrangements
