Obituary of Jane M. Johnson

Jane M. Johnson, 90, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2017 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn. Born in Boyceville, Wisconsin she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mabel Hunt. She married her beloved husband Lloyd H. Johnson on July 12, 1948 at the Thief River Falls Community Methodist Church.  Jane was a homemaker and her family was her pride and joy. She loved life and her family dearly. Jane enjoyed golfing, baking, traveling and sailing on Lake George. Jane was a member of the Jonesville United Methodist Church and volunteered at Burnt Hills Ballston Lake Schools. She served as chairman of the welcoming committee at Coburg Village and was a member of PEO.

Survivors in addition to her husband Lloyd H. Johnson include her children Steven K. (Nadine) Johnson, Peter L. (Carol Ann) Johnson and Judith A. (James) Piper. She is also survived by her cherished grandsons Jeremy and Mark Johnson, Evan and Harrison Johnson and Matthew, Jeffrey and Zachary Piper, her brother Ralph Hunt as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Clayton Hunt and her sisters Violet Hazard and Maree Olson.

A memorial service for Jane will be held on Friday November 24, 2017 at 10:00am at Coburg Village in Rexford. All are invited to join in the celebration of Jane’s life. Interment will take place at a later date at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
