Obituary of Evelyn L. Woodward

Evelyn L. Sutherland (Ayscue) Woodward, 100, died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at her daughter's home. Born in Cambridge, NY on Flag Day, June 14, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Wagner and Lillian (McCauley) Sutherland.  Evelyn moved with her family to Schenectady as a teenager, then to Glenville, where she resided most of her life.  She was married 27 years to Millard Ayscue until his passing came in 1965.  She married Stewart Woodward in 1976 and was married 27 years until his passing in 2003. Together they founded the Treasure House Restaurant in Glenville.Besides her beloved parents and husbands, she is also predeceased by her 
brothers,  Donald and Graham Sutherland, and her sisters, Josephine Wancewicz and Elaine Parente. 
Evelyn leaves her daughter, Linda (David) Drobnicki of Charlton; two grandchildren: Dana and Matthew Ayscue and great grandson, Aedan McDonough.  Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. 
A private burial of her cremated remains will be conducted at Memory Gardens on the Sutherland Family Plot in the spring. There are no planned services at Evelyn's request.  Online remebrances and condolences to the Sutherland/Drobnicki Family may be
