Obituary of Linda S. (Morris) Gelwicks

Linda S. (Morris) Gelwicks, 67, passed away on December 24th, 2017 with her loving family by her side.

Born in Schenectady, NY she was the daughter of the late Albert and Patricia (Rollier) Morris. A 1969 graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School, she began her career at the Saratoga Dairy Plant. For many years she worked for the Stewarts Corporation in the accounting department. She was also a member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Greenfield Center.

In her spare time she enjoyed crafting, quilting playing video games and attending garage sales. She was an excellent cook and baker, and loved cooking for her family. Linda was selfless and always thought of others before herself, she dearly loved her family, children, and grandchildren. She will always be remembered for these remarkable traits. 

Linda was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Timothy Morris and Albert Morris.

Survivors include her loving husband, Kelly Gelwicks; sons, Raymond Belcher, Guy (Stephanie) Belcher, Adam (Samantha) Belcher; grandchildren, Eric, Christian, Courtney, Abigail, Addyson, Mason, Autumn, Tyler and Emily; brothers, David (Kathy) Morris, Donald and Michael Morris; sisters, Deborah Ritter, Cathy Macejka, Judith and Patricia Morris.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 30th at the Church of Immaculate Conception, 400 Saratoga Rd, at 9 AM. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 PM at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd. Interment will follow funeral service at the Most Holy Redeemer in Niskayuna.
