Obituary of Dennis Montanye

Dennis C. Montanye, 62 lost his valiant battle with cancer on Saturday March 9, 2013. Born in Cobleskill NY to Carl and Hilda Dietz Montanye, he was a 1969 graduate of Mt Pleasant High School and started his career in construction. Dennis co-owned Nana Angie's Italian Kitchen with his wife was a member of the Laborer's Union for many years and most recently was employed by Executive Cleaners. Dennis was a confirmed bachelor until he met and married the love of his life, Terri-Ann Krasucki on September 18, 1977. Dennis just celebrated his birthday with his family and friends and spent the next day at Turning Stone Casino doing what he loved best - gambling! Over the past several years, Dennis caught the bug for cruising. Dennis and Terri's cruises spanned from Nova Scotia to the Panama Canal through-out the Caribbean. Dennis will be fondly remembered for his Uncle Joe stories during the numerous camping trips with the Girl Scouts. Dennis is survived by his wife and best friend of 36 years, Terri-Ann, two adoring daughters, Fawn Montanye and Morgan Montanye, (son-in-law, Tom Crawford). He has especially loved being Papa and will always keep Chloe-Ann, Jacob and Gia close to his heart. Brother, Thomas (Patti) Montanye, brother-in-laws, Charles Krasucki (Michele Adams), Robert and David Krasucki. Mother-in-law, Dianna Krasucki, nephews, Israel Montanye (Kira), Charles Krasucki, III (Chrystie), nieces, Kathleen Montanye, Sarah and Courtney Krasucki. Dennis had a special place in his heart for Sonia Polanski and Pauline "Mickey" DeMartino. Dennis was predeceased by his parents and his father-in-law, Robert Krasucki. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Dave and Michele Travis, Community Hospice and his special angel Faith Thompson .
