Obituary of Elizabeth C. Buyce

Elizabeth C. Buyce, 94, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2018 at Ellis Hospital. A lifelong area resident she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen Kruszona. Elizabeth was a graduate of Scotia Glenville High School and married her first husband George Pahl, who passed in 1964. She was one of the 8 founding families of the Schenectady ARC and belonged to the Super Sam’s Trailer Club. She married her second husband Edward Buyce who passed away in 2001. Elizabeth was a longtime, faithful member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Glenville. While her daughters were growing up, she always enjoyed attending their softball games and keeping score. Above all she loved her family and enjoyed camping with them.

In addition to her two husbands, she was predeceased by her son Ronald Pahl and her brothers Raymond Jr., Chester and Edward Kruszona.

Elizabeth is survived by her beloved daughters Carolyn Erwetowski, twins: Christine Pahl and Kathryn (Louis) Tomaino. She was also the grandmother to Andrea Erwetowski, Michael Tomaino, Laura (John) Fosmire and David (Dominique) Tomaino, and great grandmother to Madalaine Rose Tomaino.Her sister in law Helen Kruszona and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 24, 2018 at 10am at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Saratoga Road Glenville. She will be laid to rest next to her husband George Pahl at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
