Obituary of Frances L. Kuzia

Frances L. Kuzia, 87, of Glenville, passed away peacefully April 14, 2018 at Baptist Health and Rehabilitation Center. 

Born in Hannacroix, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Frances  Leavenworth Meyer. Frances grew up on a dairy farm and was a graduate of Coxsackie High School. She married Raymond J. Kuzia in St. Patrick's RC Church in Ravena.  The family later moved to Glenville in 1954. Frances attended the Immaculate Conception Church for many years.

Her favorite enjoyment in life came from being around her family and grandchildren. 

On December 10, 2000 she experienced the lost of her husband and family patriarch, Raymond. Frances is predeceased also by her beloved brothers Charles, Edward and James Meyer. 

  Surviving are her loving children: Paul J. Kuzia, Deborah Knesal (late James), Laura (David) Fowler, and Nancy (Robert) Burke; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Louis Meyer, Robert(Dawn Meyer), Thomas (Linda) Meyer sisters-in-law, Evelyn Kuzia, Marion Meyer and Marie Meyer; her cherished grandchildren: David (Jessica) and Malorie; numerous nieces and nephews, friend and caregiver, Susan Burch. 

 Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 19th at 11 AM in the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd. Relatives and friends are cordially invited also to calling hours Wednesday, April 18, from 6-8PM. 

Interment will be at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Glenville, NY.  Contributions are preferred in Frances's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis TN 38105. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to Glenvillefuneralhome.com
