Obituary of Margaret M. King

Margaret M. King, 82, died peacefully June 11, 2018. Margaret was born on May 30, 1936 and raised in Brooklyn attending Grover Cleveland H.S. there. She was a secretary for several manufacturing companies, met and later married Harold King on August 12, 1961. The King’s moved to Ballston Spa in 1969 and attended St. Mary’s Church. Margaret was employed 25 years for KAPL, retiring in 1996. Following retirement, the King’s moved to Newfoundland (2000-2001) then back in Glenville, living on Lancaster Rd. Margaret was a faithful communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, volunteered for Hospice and Baptist Health Center. She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Margaret Quinn and brothers, Gerard and Thomas Quinn. Survivors include her brother, Patrick (Diane) Quinn and several nieces and nephews both locally and in Newfoundland. Visiting hours 9:30-10:30 AM Thursday, June 14, at Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd. Glenville-Scotia. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Saratoga Rd. officiated by Rev. Leo Markert. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Middle Village (Queens) Friday 11 AM graveside.
