Obituary of Kenneth J. Hayden

Kenneth J. Hayden, 62, passed away peacefully on June 15th, 2018 at the Glendale Home. Born in Fort Campbell, KY on September 14th, 1955, he was the son of James and Mary Anna Hayden. He was a 1973 graduate of Linton High School and earned an Associate's Degree from Hudson Valley Community College in 1986. He was a founding partner of Northeast Petroleum Technologies, Inc. in Schenectady. Ken took great joy in playing guitar with his band Red Otis. He was also a skilled bowler and enjoyed playing poker and golf. Above all he loved spending time with his family, especially at Saturday night coffee nights. Ken was predeceased by his beloved first wife, Terry Coppola, whom he married on May 17th, 1979, and by his parents. He is survived by his beloved wife Christi (Grasso) Hayden, whom he married on September 22nd, 2013, his son Dylan (Jennifer) Hayden and step children Nicholas Nelson and Annie Nelson. He is also survived by his siblings Kathleen Miller, David Hayden, and Melissa Johnson as well as many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.  Memorial contributions to the charity of choice.  Calling hours will be held on Monday June 18th, 2018 from 4-7 pm at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, Glenville. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, June 19th, 2018 at  10 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Schenectady.
