Obituary of Carole Linda Lape

Carole Linda Lape (nee Strang), age 78, passed away peacefully at home on April 30, 2023 after a long illness, devotedly cared for by her husband Albert Lape. The simplest pleasures in life brought her great joy, but the greatest of all was the time she had with her family.

Linda is survived by her husband, Albert Lape, her daughter Theresa (David) Lamitie, grandson Sergent Lamitie, sister Karen (Richard) Winslow, half-sisters Cindy Gregory and Nancy Strang, half-brother Carl (Kim) Strang, cousins Norma (John) Coffenberg, and Bradley (Andrea) Strang, and her beloved nieces and nephews. Her cherished grandson, grandnieces and grandnephews brought her great happiness. She was predeceased by her daughter Christine Empie, whose memory forever remains in our hearts

A Mass of Christian Burial will be lovingly celebrated by her nephew, Msgr. Patrick Winslow, on Friday, May 19 at 9am at St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church, 1241 State Street Schenectady, NY.
