Obituary of Patsy Farone

Patsy D. Farone, 62, passed away peacefully April 10, 2013 at Ellis Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Schenectady on March 7, 1951 he was the son of the late Pasquale and Mary Jean Ackinbach Farone. He attended Scotia-Glenville Schools. Patsy grew up on Johnson Rd. where his family owned and operated Farone's Auto Parts. Patsy was a perfectionist when placing orders for a specific part - numbers had to match! In earlier years he would race at the Lebanon Valley Motor Speedway. He married the love of his life Kathy Bleau Farone on September 16, 1972 Patsy began his career at Helferich Ford in Schenectady then worked for Metro Ford as a service manager. He has been employed in the same capacity for Fucillo Hyndai the last 18 years. He was predeceased by his brother Danny Farone. In addition to his wife Kathy he is survived by his sons: David Farone (Dawn) and Nicholas Farone (Libby), his brothers, Tim Farone and wife Veronica and Glenn Farone, all of Glenville; grandfather to Anthony and Nicholas Farone. Several nieces and nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 13 at 11 AM at the Glenville Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Glenville Funeral Home Friday from 5PM to 8 PM April 12.
