Frank,
It's only slightly less painful now than it was the day you passed away. As we still grieve and miss you, we are happy to know you are with the Lord.

Sorry to here about your loss. I am the assistant track and cross country coach at Schenectady High School. I had lots of good conversations with Frank over the years. He cared deeply about his teams and the sport of cross country. The running community will miss him. I will be thinking about him during the Grout Cross Country Invitational next year.

Deepest Condolences to the DeMasi Family at this time for the unexpected loss of Frank.I have many memories of the family as I was a regular playmate to Jackie when we were all at St.Luke's. We would go from Charles St to Edward St getting into antics.I remember watching A Hard Day's Night at Proctors with Jackie and screaming like crazy! Frank was always around and a kind big brother...Truly Sorry for Your Loss.....

We were so saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Frank. Whenever we met Frank he was always so warm and cordial and would talk about the days when we were neighbors on Edward Street. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Frank:
When it came to statistics about runners from the past and present anywhere in NYS, you were unmatched. You not only cared about your athletes but also their competitors and the coaches opposing you. You were sincere and honest and were a kindhearted soul. You will be missed by the running community and the people whose lives you touched.

I met Frank in front of the Aerodrome in 1967 or 68. I immediately liked him despite the fact that he called me Dave for about the next year. It always gave us a giggle.
I was very disappointed and saddened to hear of his passing and although I haven't seen him in a very long time I know I will miss him very much. A person as kind as Frank doesn't pass on without leaving a very big hole in the world.

My condolences to the DeMasi family on Frank's passing. Frank graduated from Bishop Gibbons in 1966 and I followed in 1973. I returned to BG in the mid 80's to teach and coach (basketball with Don Blaha) when Frank was coaching track there. He really knew his stuff and years later I would run into him on occasion at the Dunkin Donuts on Mohawk Street in Scotia. We talked BG athletics and he remembered everything. I also remembered him carrying a Bible with him- he was a follower of Jesus and I'm sure he is looking down on all of us from Heaven right now. RIP, Frank.

We are so heartbroken over Frank’s passing. Our family knew Frank when he lived on Edward street and we lived in Steinmetz homes. We all went to Bishop Gibbons HS but lost touch until years later when we would see him at Stewart’s or at the Glenville Queen Diner. He never changed but was always the good natured, witty man as we remembered. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Living in Florida, I was shocked to see Frank's name on the morning news. Frank had been e-mailing me over the last few years about Bishop Gibbons track and Cross-country teams from the early 60's.
(I graduated in '63).
Frank just contacted me in early Jan about a race I had with Ray Van-Epps of Colonie HS in the winter of 1966.
I am sorry for your loss.
