Obituary of Frank C. DeMasi

Frank C. DeMasi, 70, of Scotia passed away suddenly on January 21, 2019. Born in Niskayuna, he was the son of the late Frank and Mildred DeMasi. Frank was a 1966 graduate of Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons High School and went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross in 1970. Frank proudly served in the Amy Reserves for several years. He married his beloved wife Karen M. Adams on February 20, 1987. Frank worked for the US Post Office from 1971 to 1999 and was currently working at CVS Pharmacy is Scotia as a sales associate. Frank was an avid reader and could often be found with a book in his hands. One of his biggest passions in life was coaching Track and Cross Country for Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons High School and since 1998, for Duanesburg Central School District. He will always be remembered for the support he showed the students and the dedication he had for coaching.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife Karen M. Adams, his sister Jackie (Michael) Allard and his brother Michael DeMasi. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Calling hours and a service of remembrance will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 7:30 – 9pm at City View Church 132 Mohawk Ave, Scotia, NY 12302.
