Uncle Donny, You will be truly missed. The many holidays, cookouts, and celebrations we spent together will always hold a very special place in our hearts. You entered into eternal life on one of your favorite great niece's birthday. We know Alexis held a very special place in your heart and vow to celebrate your life each year as we are celebrating hers. We will never let her forget what a remarkable man her great uncle was. May you have found eternal peace and love. We love you always, Jason, Kerri, and Alexis

Donnie was a great friend. Although we havent seen each other for 30 years I will always have fond memories of him. We grew up together. Played football together and were roommates for a few years. We shared a home in Bonnet Shores and had a blast hanging at the beach. We also lived together on the East side where he ran a restaurant on Brown University and he was always the smartest guy in the room even among Brown students. We used to run beach parties every Memorial Day at Scarborough Beach with burgers and dogs and plenty of kegs of beer. He was cool, calm and collective. Never seen him mad about anything. He was the only guy in the world who ran a newspaper route in a Mercedes Benz. Boy did he love that Benz. We would cruise around to all hours of the night. We had a blast at his family;s summer home on Indian Lake. My condolences to the family and look out God cause Warby is coming home. Love you Brother. Hoop

I will miss Don very much. I have many fun memories of Don, dinners, parties, casual get togethers and teaching some youngsters how to play basketball!
Most of all I just enjoyed talking to him. He talked with a calm sincerity that was easy to listen to. He had many stories about his travels with Carole and his life experiences. I enjoyed how he was able to connect with just about everyone. When we went out to eat he knew the owner, The chef and the waiter.
I will miss him.
Rick
