Rick failthfully managed most of his mother-in-law Evalyn's home modifications and repairs over many years. He was a quiet, loving and very strong presence during family gatherings, lending great stability and support. His family deeply reflects and continues his strength, warmth and presence even now.

I knew Marj had found a wonderful man on the day that they were married. Rick was moved to tears to be marrying my sister. It was very endearing.
I have myriad of favorite memories stretching from our time together in Montana in the early years to our more recent trip to Aruba. The tropical breezes, white beaches and sunshine were the perfect backdrop for our many adventures. He loved the open jeep four wheeling on the dunes of the unihabited side of the island, hiking back to a private ocean area to snorkel and layghing at Marj sitting on the white sandy deserted beach attempting to learn to kite surf from our gracious guide Arias. Our evening at the decadently romantic restaurant The Old Man and the Sea was incredible and fortuitously for Rick, Marj, Michael, Mel, Bob and I we had it to ourselves.
It was obvious that Rick and Marj shared a strong love. They raised thee beautiful children, enjoyed two grandkids and now grandkids to com that will feel the love of Rick through each one of their family members.
Rick, you are loved and greatly missed. It's been difficult this year watching everyone cope and adjust to your loss, but I kow you are proud of how they are managing. All your sign help a lot so keep sending them to your family.
I could feel your presence recently while I recuperated from my fractured leg. Thank you for bein my guardian angel. Love you lots.

I remember mostly that Rick faithfully managed home modifications, improvements and repairs over many years for my sister, Rick's mother-in-law Evalyn.

It was late in 2011 that Rick and Marg came for a visit. I preppped Mel by saying Rick is kinda quiet. Well nothing could of been further from the truth. Its hard to remember a time when I laughed so much. We spent 3 of the days taking in the views of the countryside. The wine was great and the company even better.
We miss you in Va
Love Michael and Mel

I had so many wonderful times every time I was with Rick. The most amazing thing I can say is that he and his wonderful wife raised three terrific responsible and well mannered adults they should be very proud.
Miss you and love you big guy!
