Obituary of Constance Bopp Keeler

Constance Bopp Keeler, beloved wife and mother, went into the arms of the Lord on April 15, 2021. She fought a long and courageous battle with Leukemia for 13 years.

Constance was born in Albany, NY on March 17, 1932, the daughter of the late Theodore and Marcella (Street) Bopp. Connie graduated from The Academy of Holy Names in 1950 and then attended Albany Business College. She had lived in the Albany- Schenectady area most of her life, except for the nine years the family lived in Houston, Texas, where she worked at Houston Northwest Hospital. Connie was also employed by Conifer Park in Glenville, NY, for 20 years until her retirement at age 75. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her and will be remembered for her kind disposition and bright smile. Connie loved flowers and going to plays. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard E. Keeler and sister, Marcia B. Stone.

She is survived by her six children, Karen (David) Brown, CT, Deborah (Joseph) Puglisi, Suzanne Greene of Scotia, Richard J. Keeler (Charles Cabral), Niskayuna, David (Cyndi) Keeler and Mark (Laura) Keeler, TX. She also leaves her much loved eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren (with one on the way) and nephews, Rodney and Theodore Stone.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 8-10AM at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd., Glenville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Saratoga Rd., Scotia. Burial will be held at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.org/) . Online condolences www.glenvillefuneralhome.com
