I was privileged to meet Fran during the final days of his life at the Glendale nursing home. He was an elegant, dignified, sincere man. He gave me a copy of the recollections which he had recorded of his days during World War II.It was a touching story and humbling reminder how much so many have given. I only had a couple of conversations with Fran but can honestly say that I was honored to know him.
Our prayers are with the family and with all those who loved Francis.
