Obituary of Paul A. Banaszewski

Paul A. Banaszewski passed away peacefully on October 7, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Stanley and Mary Banaszewski.  Paul graduated from Bishop Gibbons High School, and continued his education at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point.  Following Graduation, he proudly defended his country serving in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam conflict.  Paul married his beloved wife, Margaret on June 28, 1969, at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Pittsburgh, PA.  He was a dedicated employee of General Electric for over 30 years.  Paul was an avid outdoorsman and a longtime communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Glenville.  Above all, Paul cherished his family.  Left to cherish his memory is his wife Margaret, his son Michael (Patricia), his daughter Michelle (Michael), his four grandchildren, his sister Mary Lannier (Verne) and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his infant brother Raymond. 

Funeral Services for Paul will be held privately for his family.
