Obituary of Marilyn M. Smiley

Marilyn Smiley, 92, passed away peacefully at Saratoga Hospital in the early morning hours of New Year's Day 2022.  For the last three years,she was lovingly cared for in Sun Haven Manor in Ballston Spa. Born in Exeter, New Hampshire on September 29th 1929. She was one of two daughters to the late Edgar C. and Hilda Paulsen Morse. She married Orin S.L. Smiley on December 23rd 1946.

Marilyn was senior account clerk for the New York State Office of Mental Health. She resided with her husband in Altamont for many years (out in the country!), Marilyn was a parishioner of St. Boniface Episcopal Church in Guilderland. She was predeceased by her husband, Orin Smiley and their son Clarke Smiley; her sister, Arlene Dow and grandson, Steven Jacobs. 

Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Brooke (Gregory) Ketz of Colonie.  There will be no services.  A Memorial Contribution will be named by the Smiley Family upcoming on the funeral home's website.  Online condolences www.glenvillefuneralhome.com
