When I walked in on Sunday mornings Steve’s footprints were always visible. I appreciated his soft spoken demeanor and stable presence. To witness strong men in the Lord is a blessing. I am so sorry for you and your sons.

Jamie and I are indebted to Steve’s passion for missions. He inspired us individually and together as our team leader on short term trips to Peru and Belize. Our families have grown together over the years to become genuine family. We thank God for Steve. We are grateful to continue on with Heather, Ian and Shane. We grieve, but our grief is with hope (1 Thes 4:13).

Heather, Ian, Shane and family we are so sorry for your loss. We have always appreciated Steve's sweet spirit and positive attitude and his huge smile as he stood by the coat racks and greeted everyone who came into the Church. Steve was a true gentleman, a Godly man and a wonderful Sunday school teacher. We will truly miss Steve and his gifts which he used so willingly for God's glory. Steve is in heaven and rejoicing that he is finally face to face with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and worshipping before the throne of God. We will miss seeing him . . . Until we meet again.

Dear Heather, Ian and Shane,
Love the fun times we’ve had over the years. You know Charleigh loved Steve’s fajitas. His kindness and teasing meant so much to her. He had a way of making every person feel like they were one of his favorite people. Your friendship is precious to us. We cannot believe Steve is truly gone from this earth. I know He is rejoicing with Jesus but selfishly we are mourning his absence. Love, love, love, Maryann and Charleigh. Mike and my adult children also send their condolences.

I met Steve at Faith Baptist in the fall of 2018. Our homeschool basketball teams were looking for a place to practice and Steve opened up their basketball court for our teams to hold practices, which we do to this day. Steve always had a ready smile as he welcomed both players and coaches as they walked through the doors every Monday and Thursday between November and February. Steve took great care in keeping the church in impeccable condition. Anyone who has walked through the doors at Faith Baptist can attest to what a well kept facility Steve maintained.
More importantly, Steve became a friend. Although he was always busy, he took the time to share the day's events and ask how you were doing. I will miss Steve here on earth but am happy that he is with the Lord who I am sure greeted him with the words: Well done, good and faithful servant.
My condolences go out to Heather, Ian, Shane and the rest of his family.
