Sam, without you I would never have tried peanut butter, sour cream, or mustard! You were always pushing me to test myself and we found ways to make challenging mealtimes fun! I remember how the first week I met you, you showed me your butt yelling "Chelsea look at my mutant butt crack!" Hahaha. You were always the one to make a room fill with laughter!
I will always remember those silly crocs you would wear this time of year and all of your hats (so many hats)! We would be so cheeky on the unit! You were so kind and would give the shirt off of your back (sometimes literally!) for someone in need!
I remember when we met years ago in hospital... causing trouble with Mary Jo and being the mean girls on the unit, haha. Always being so silly together!
I think about us joking even recently about Dr. Alger and all of her "You go girl" speeches we would receive about our rising potassium and electrolyte levels! I promise to never use those listerine-like electrolyte strips from Dicks ever again!
When we met years ago, we were both deciding how we could give life another chance and make the most of our time here. We saved ourselves that winter. That was the first Halloween I knew you for. You lived that day to change lives and I have no doubt that since then you have touched someone's heart every day- In fact, I have seen it happen many times. I hope you know that I will always love you. You've saved my life so many times. I'm sure I'll be talking to you everyday, lovey. I'm so blessed to have had you in my life. Rest easy love. ♥ ♥ ♥ I'll think of you often girlie, especially when handing out candy this weekend! I know you'll be tanning in the sun, drinking fuse, and riding to your hearts content in Heaven! <3
