So very sorry for your loss. My husband and I moved to Burnt Hills, in 1985, and Veeder and Yelverton was our pharmacy. Our son and daughter, always loved to accompany me if I needed to go there. They loved seeing Mr.Mercurio. He was always so kind to them, and to us. And they knew that he would have some kind of treat for them, their favorite being rock candy. He was a wonderful man, who took the time to make anyone, coming into his pharmacy, feel valued. We wish you comfort and peace during this difficult time. Jill and Bob Miglin

Mr. Mercurio was the definition of neighborly. Whether I saw him out in his yard or in the back at Veeder & Yelverton, he would always call out "Hey Peggy", smile a big smile and ask me what was up. The smile was always there, and he always took the time to chat, even if I went on and on about my pet rabbits. My condolences to Mrs. Mercurio, Lisa, and Mark - he was a wonderful man.
