Obituary of Charles "Chuck" Foster, Jr.

On Thursday, October 27, 2022, Charles P. Foster JR, loving partner and great father of his children;three sons and a daughter has sadly passed awaytoo soon at the of age fifty-seven fighting his battle of cancer. Chuck was a fun, loving, and generous soul, who loved a great joke with friends, and was always up for a good mechanical challenge. Chuck was well-known in his community, gaining him a long time reputation as the friendly neighbor, a hard working blue collar man, was recognized on his spare time for fixing something in the driveway, enjoying a race with his gear-head friends online or just spending time with his dear family. 

Charles is survived by his lifelong loving wife of thirty-two years, Cynthia G. Foster, his sons, Charles P. Foster III, Cody E. Foster (Selena), Cameron V.Foster (Kat), and his daughter Carlee E. Foster. Chuck was also a Grandfather, who shared a special bond with his only granddaughter, Shelby L. Foster. 

Charles is also survived by his father Charles P.Foster Sr. His two sisters, Mary J. Boykin,
Shannon D. Foster, and brother Justin E. Foster (Davina) along with many close nephews, nieces and cousins. Charles is predeceased by his mother Mary J. Foster and took great solace in being reunited with her in heaven.

As we grieve this loss and celebrate Charles life, the Foster family way of life runs not only through blood but deep into the cracks of the community where he resided. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Glenville Funeral Home from 4-6pm. We would like to invite anyone who had thepleasure of knowing Chuck to come and say not a goodbye, but a see you later to his sweet soul.
