Joan and family- We are saddened to hear of Doug's passing. I remember cooking hamburgers at Mt. Zion with Doug and he inviting me to join the ASP team. I did and still serve and lead in that ministry today. It was all by God working through Doug and his leading. He was an awesome brother in the Lord, great man of integrity and a wonderful friend. Joan and Family, I was so sorry to learn of Doug's passing. I too drove a bus for Shen as my retirement job and I always enjoyed sitting with Doug when time allowed between runs. He was a wonderful guy with a great sense of humor and a calm demeanor. We spent many hours discussing what it was like being a fan of the Orioles and Red Sox. He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Greg Holmes

Doug was a GREAT Guy who is a Much-Loved & Valuable member of our American Legion. Over the many years that I have known him, I can NEVER recall him denying any request for help with a Chore or Project. On a personal note, being Retired U.S. Navy, Doug & I connected on a Sailor-Level that many will never know. His Own-Brand of "Wit & Wisdom" will be Sorely Missed as we fondly remember him for Many Years to come. God Bless Him & his Family!!!! John "Lippy" Lepine, Commander, Post-1450.
