Mike was a special person to many who love him. He was kind, fun to be around, and a free spirit. I have a lot of fond memories with him & my best friend, Jeff. One great memory is Jeff & Mike inviting me to watch the Superbowl with them. They knew I was upset & sad. They wanted me to have fun & not be alone. They got me out of my gloom & we had an awesome fun time. Mike is going to be missed by so many. He is loved by many. He is in paradise now with his parents & siblings. I was honored to know him. Goodbye is never forever.

Mike was our very professional and effective security guard at the Commission. He also let us know that he cared about us and our day and was very kind and pleasant. We send our condolences to the family and his other friends. Pat Johnson

Mike was always a pleasure to meet with during the day. He was conscientious about his job responsibilities and was fun to talk to about cars and camping. I worked with him at the Justice Center for a few years and felt he was a friend to talk to about "stuff" almost immediately. He will be missed. My condolences to his family. Mike Heim

Mike was our Security Guard, but more importantly, he was our friend. He was a kind and happy soul, always greeted me with a "Morning Miss Betty" He didn't like Chinese food, but always made sure we got our order and we laughed about this each week. Mike was fiercely protective of us, not just as our Security Guard, but as our friend. He spoke of his "happy place" - at a camp, fishing, quite often. My sympathies to his family. Thank you for sharing Mike with us. Betty Meyer Fuller

I worked with Mike at the Justice Center, he was always so friendly and helpful. His warm smile in the morning always made you feel good, and he was always so nice to talk to. Mike will be sorely missed...
