Obituary of Michael Patrick Martin

Michael Patrick Martin, 55, of Schenectady, NY, passed away on December 30, 2022, after a short battle with cancer.  Mike was born in Schenectady, NY, to Robert J & Hazel D (Book) Martin Sr. on June 14, 1967.

Mike worked in the field of security for many years and enjoyed his job as a Lieutenant Security Officer at the NYS Justice Center.  He treasured spending time at Lake Desolation, where he fished and created wonderful memories during many family gatherings. He enjoyed nothing more than relaxing and having his morning coffee surrounded by the peaceful mountain setting.

He is survived by his brother Robert J (Kim) Martin Jr of Winter Springs FL, his sister Donna Martin, of Cotopaxi, CO, his brother Jeffrey Martin, of Schenectady NY, his sister Kimberly (Bill) Baldwin of Spencer, NY, his nieces Danielle Johnson of Cedar Creek TX, Becky (Cory) McVay of Lexington TX, McKinley (Matt) Bast of Spencer, NY, and his nephew Billy Baldwin of Bellingham, WA.  Mike is also survived by several cousins, great nieces and great nephews

He is preceded in death by his father Robert J Martin Sr., his mother Hazel (Book) Martin, his sister Sherri Carter, his brother Gregory Martin, and his niece Crystal Brooks.
