We have known Kevin and Janice John for many years. We usually ran into them at Hannaford getting groceries. We always stopped to say "Hello." Kevin never complained and always had a big smile on his face! He loved the Red Sox ! Our prayers go out to Janice and Kelly and Katie and their husbands and children during this sad time. The light has gone out of their lives, but they are strong and very close and they will hold each other up and get through this sad heartbreaking time. .We are so very sorry that Kevin is gone, but will never be forgotten!. We are thinking of you all.

Although I only had the pleasure of knowing and working for Kevin a couple short years, he was the most thoughtful, caring, and dedicated manager I have ever had in over 4 decades of work. We shared cute stories and pictures of our beautiful children and grandchildren's adventures. He always spoke of his family with a big smile on his face and I knew he was a very blessed man.
My heart goes out to his family, but as you already know, he is always with you.

I first met Kevin back in 2002 when he interviewed me for a position in the technical manuals group at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory. I was fortunate enough to get that position, but even more fortunate to have met Kevin and begin a friendship that spanned 20 years.
Professionally, Kevin approached every project with meticulous focus and thoroughness... and with wry humor mixed in along the way to keep things fun. Kevin was extremely well respected by his peers and management. I was always amazed at how many people knew Kevin and would say hi to him as he walked by. A stark difference to my "don't make eye contact" style.
Personally, Kevin was the first person I ever met that shared my intense love for baseball. His love for baseball was exceeded only by his love for his family. Over the years Kevin and I took several baseball trips together. I will always cherish the memories and laughs we shared on those trips. Kevin's love for the Red Sox was also always evident and he never wavered when I would try to convince him to change his allegiance to my team.
Good bye, Kevin. I want you to know that I am honored that you were my friend and am a better person because of your friendship. I look forward to seeing you again.

I was shocked to hear of Kevin's passing as I did not know he was ill. I worked with Kevin at the Kesselring facility. The thing that stood out with me about Kevin was how ready he was to help anyone with anything. I say anything because he could always figure it out. He always smiled and said "I'll take care of it".
