Kevin M. John, a man of wisdom, faith, and selflessness, was born on September 22, 1960. On April 9, 2023, he was surrounded by his loving family, fulfilled with memories, and assurance of God when he peacefully entered heaven’s gates. Kevin’s unwavering faith, love for his family, and jokes remained steadfast until the very end. Kevin's strong belief in God provided him with the strength and resilience to face life's challenges head-on, and will forever provide heavenly signs to his loved ones.

Born and raised in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Edward and Marjorie (Burke) John. A 1978 graduate of Bishop Gibbins High School, he continued his education at SUNY Plattsburgh, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in English.

Kevin had a successful 39-year career at Knolls Atomic Power Lab. He began as a technical writer at General Electric and eventually became Manager of Information Management Support Services.

Kevin loved baseball and the Boston Red Sox. He attended over 500 baseball games and visited nearly all of the MLB stadiums.

An avid traveler, Kevin loved traveling the country with his family visiting National Parks and the beauty of our natural wonders. He visited 47 of the 50 states. He treasured the frequent family trips spending weekends across the lakes of the Adirondacks.
