Obituary of Marie Donzelli

Marie N. (Palma) Donzelli , 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 22, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, NY, She was the daughter of the late Raffaele and Nunziata Palma. Marie married her high-school sweetheart the late Joseph Donzelli on September 28, 1947. She worked a short time at Union Health Center, in Brooklyn, as a Secretary but most of her life she was a dedicated wife and mother. Marie's passion was her family as well as her spiritual beliefs. She is survived by her children Daniel (Norma) Donzelli, Joseph (Janine) Donzelli , John (Carolyn) Donzelli, Marie Chamberlain and Linda (Ron) Carbonaro. Marie is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased be her husband and her four brothers. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd., East Glenville. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 29. Interment will take place in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Donations may be made in Marie's name to Hospice of Schenectady.
