I knew and admired Don Dutt since I was in the 7th grade as my closest friends in life were his two sons Bob and Rick. Since the beginning when I was that annoying little kid that was always around Don and Kate made me feel I was part of the family. The joke was that I was the third son. He was inspirational to me in the career I chose and I always enjoyed talking to him about Engineering and GE. When I got married to my wife Beverly she too felt a closeness to Dutt family. We will both miss him and our condolences go out to the family.
