To Joel's family, I was sorry to hear the sad news of Joel's passing; my thoughts and prayers are with you. I worked with Joel at Conifer Park and I always admired his professionalism, his breadth of knowledge and his sense of humor, but most of all I remember his passion and dedication to helping the adolescents with whom we worked. And his suits- of course we all remember him for that! He was a great man- may he rest in peace and may you be comforted by the memories of the great life he led and the knowledge that he helped so many people.

Joel, we will all miss you very much. I'll miss our holiday dinners together that we have had for at least 20 years. I'll miss our many conversations about cars, clothes, politics, vacations, TV shows, and of course the Yankees and Giants. The suffering is over and you are now in a better place.
