Obituary of Robert Graham
Robert J. Graham, 68, passed away on October 6, 2014 at his home. Born in Middletown, Connecticut on June 27, 1946 he was the son of the late Julian and Eleanor Schroeder Graham. Robert grew up in Peekskill, NY and graduated in 1964 from Lakeland High School in Shrub Oak, NY. He went on to further his education at Gettysburg College. Robert also received his Master's Degree in Education from the State University of Albany. He proudly served in the United State's Army and received the Purple Heart and a Conspicuous Service Cross during the Vietnam War. Robert retired from Hunter- Tannersville High School in Tannersville, NY as a social studies teacher. He was fascinated by history and avidly read about American and European History. You could also often find Robert listening to classical music and modern jazz. He was also very enthusiastic on horse racing and the history of it.
Robert is survived by his daughter Kim Labrecque and her husband Mario and his granddaughters Sophia and Chloe Labrecque.
Funeral services for Robert will take place on Friday October 17, 2014 at 11:00am from the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd., Glenville. Inurnment will follow the service at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY . Relatives and friends may call on Thursday October 16,2014 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
