The Sweet Family: So sorry for the loss of your dear beloved one. Im sure she was as sweet at the name she was given. During times like these I often find comfort in God's word the Bible. At Isaiah 25:8 and Revelations 21:4 there is a promise made by God himself that gives much comfort and hope . Continue to pray and ask him to help us until that time comes .

It was a very long time ago that I had Candy Sweet as a teacher. I remember her as calm and approachable, not always qualities found in a pe teacher in those days. :) Sending my sincere sympathy to Candy's family and friends. I'm sure she's already organized the angel field hockey team :)

When I moved to Clifton Park and began subbing in hopes of finding a job, Shenendehowa was one of the schools I was called for as a substitute. At the High School, Candy was one of the first teachers I taught with. Candy always greeted me with that big smile of hers, making me feel so welcomed! Three things come to mind when I think of Candy: her love of laughter and funny stories, her passion for her beloved game, Field Hockey, and her patience and concern for students, especially those with special needs. Candy made a difference in the lives of countless students and teachers, and I for one will never forget her. My condolences go out to her family

Kathy I was so sorry to read this....so many memories of growing up with you on Pashley Rd, Candy being older but always present. (never will forget you on the bus singing "I Wanna Be, Bobby's Girl" :-) Life is getting shorter, so many tragedies, thankful for every breath. Prayers for Peace with my love, Wendy XO

I have not seen or talked to Candy in over 25 years but she was a special friend to me when I started my teaching career. I began subbing at Shen before I got a permanent job in another district. Candy was friendly and so encouraging to me. She had a comfortable accepting way about her and I found that her friendship and encouragment gave me confidence in myself as a teacher. At the time I met her, my children and her niece were involved in competitive swimming and it was fun to share stories. She was so proud of her family. Candy's friendly accepting open manner spread so much good will to all. My condolences to her family. Christine Sutphin

What a blessing to have had Coach Sweet be such an important part of my life. She was encouraging, positive and motivating. Some of my best memories on the field hockey field are some of the funny things she would say to me before facing a tough team. The lessons I have learned from Coach Sweet have impacted me in so many positive ways and I often use what she taught me with my own children. She will live on in my heart. She left an impression in this world, one that I am grateful for. Thank you Coach Sweet for believing in me and pushing me and making me a better person. My deepest condolences to Coach Sweet's family.
